Interview with Selling Power, October 2023

Richard Barkey, Founder and CEO at Imparta, and Michelle Vazzana, Chief Innovation Officer at Imparta, were invited to speak with Gerhard Gschwandtner at Selling Power regarding Imparta’s recent acquisition of Vantage Point Performance.

Richard Barkey said, “We are quite an ambitious business. We’ve been growing 25% a year for the past few years since the pandemic. We are on track to do that again this year and the year after.

Most of that is organic growth, but we have also been looking for acquisition partners to join what we’re doing that are complimentary, either in terms of tools and approach, or intellectual property. So, we’ve been looking for ways to extend the library of content that we offer to our clients.

From my point of view, it’s a way for us to increase our existing presence in the US, we’re already in the States, but add some really talented people to the team over there. Also, to extend our intellectual property in ways that I think are more complementary than either Michelle or I had realised when we first started speaking.”
